I just bought a case F170 side delivery rake does anyone have or know where I can get the clips to hold the teeth on, I need 3, thanks darin
 
Post over on Case board. A lot of knowledge and guy's that can probably help or point you in right direction. Scott
 
Unless you find a junk unit probably cannot find them. You can substitute New Idea No. 4 rake teeth into the Case clips but not the other way around But those New Idea clips are avaible as aftermarket and I was told buy a dealer $3.00 each but that may have changed. He also said they are not made quite correctly. And last I checked the New Idea teeth were $2.25 each. I am not going to get anymore Case rakes that i know of for rebuilding for the Amish as they are just not selling, Now a McCormick or New Idea sells with the New idea the best and as far as replacement parts New idea is best as a lot are made in aftermarket parts. Have one New Idea and 1 John Deere setting here now yet for rebuilding. Rebuilt too many this past year to remember all I have had and then the ones I have handled that I did nothing to and let the person I work with handle that part on them. I know a few years back I checked on new from IHC and those pieces were $35 each, I found used ones to get me by. In last 10 years I have handled probably 50+ rakes. The Case 160 rake that is a 3 bar takes same clip.
 
A lot of years since we had two F170 rakes and I forget the exact shape of the pieces, but using one you have as a patten, can you not hand cut and shape/form one? Surprising what can be made by hand with a bit of thought and patience
