A friend ask me to look at a plow. Has some green on so maybe John Deere or oliver. Any body know what it is and the value before he takes it to the scrap yard? The coulter wheel does turn

Yeah it kinda does look like a JD,look and see in the very center of the coulter and look for a JD ensignia .

Appears to be off of a #60 or #70 Allis Chalmers semi-mount plow. The 2 brackets on top of frame is part of the hydraulic lift to the tail wheel, the round wheel, in front of right bracket, is for holding the hydraulic hose, and the coulter and coulter bracket look like A-C.

Its about 1/2 of an Allis Chalmers plow. Not valuable unless you need some slats for your other plow.
