picked up a front mount dozer/snow plow fro my '49 8n. rear brackets are missing. plate has 19-2on blade, cant read numbers on frame. from what i can tell they:
- mount underneath the fender mount bolts
- capture the 2 pins (1"?) on the side of the frame
- have a slot to hitch the chain to

dose anyone have dimensions, photographs, one for sale, one they would be willing to loan/send me for duplication?

also missing the cross bar (1" dia) that has 2 bends. how critical are the bends for operation?
thanks

Bends do not need to be in there. and I do have the brackets someplace, have not had my blade on for several years.

Here are a couple of photos and some drawings. I think the pins are 7/8". You can use straight rear bar as I do. If I were to make a set I would just go with a 4x6 angle and drill the hole where needed and line it up and stick the pin in.
I have some better photos in a pdf form I can email you if you would like them just email me.

Holes on this bracket should be 5/8" not 1/2". Holes are same as fender bolts.

Thank you Kirk and Leroy. I was wondering if a straight bar would work.

Leroy, are your brackets original? if you have them and are willing to sell them, please let me know, pm me.

Thank you both very much. i can't wait to get time, i want to wire brush it all, prime/paint and get it back together right.

I will keep the brackets as long as I have the blade and tractor and tractor has been here for 73 years now and blade for 67 years. Just not able to do the work anymore. All I coulf possibly do if I would find them is take a picture and wright measurements on it and snail mail it. Think that is in the archives someplace.
