Pull type combines

Does anybody build a pull type combine anymore? I just saw a couple of pictures of some in use but they are older machines.

The only 'pull types' being made today are specialty machines made specificly for (pinto) beans,peanuts,etc.....I don't think a laege pulltype small grain machine has been made since the 1980s.

Deere made the 7700 and 8800s as a pull type I believe. They were a 7701 and 8801 if memory serves me right. They were used mostly in the northern plains where the grain was swathed first. I don't know if they made or still make them in the new series of machines or not.

working on one now. a revamped 90 allis . hope to get a prototype built by spring gotta get castings done this winter if the foundry can get them done.

It was the 6601 and the 7701,The 6601 is a 44 inch machine and the 77 is a 55 inch, it takes some power to run that 7701.

I think the 9501 was the last John Deere

good morning Charlie, cruising through kiji farm equipment for sale there is a john deere 7721 pull type combine for sale, always stored inside, new gearbox, the ad # if you want to check it out is 1302065778 and owner asking $4000.00 other than needing a bath it looks in pretty nice shape.
