(quoted from post at 18:05:49 11/20/17) It's not a Cub mower. The Cub mower has a different size pulley on the rear and no cross bracing on the front mount. I believe that the bend in the front mount is supposed to be there. Can you set it under the tractor and take a picture of it?
Definitely is bent. If I'm going to heat it up to brand it back any suggestions? How do I get the flywheel shaft cover off to do it? Or can I just heat it up assembled? Any seals to worry about?(quoted from post at 18:05:49 11/20/17) It's not a Cub mower. The Cub mower has a different size pulley on the rear and no cross bracing on the front mount. (quoted from post at 16:36:12 11/27/17) Also check for a roll pin. The more I think about it I kinda of remember driving a pin out.
(quoted from post at 09:03:10 11/26/17) cdd can you post a picture of the pulley and wedge?
(quoted from post at 18:13:44 11/28/17) that is a keyway cdd and like timm said there is a spring pin/roll pin that holds the pulley to the shaft, first find and drive out the pin, then GENTLY tap the pulley off the shaft, the purpose of the keyway is to hold the pulley from turning on the shaft. I would use a brass drift punch and medium size ballpean hammer working your way all the way around the pulley.
