We discussed pressure on my 375 a while back. Yesterday I installed new packing in the gate cylinders and can now run the pressure up to 1000# when the gate is closed and I stay on the hyd. valve. However, releasing the valve and watching, over a few minutes the pressure bleeds down a couple hundred psig or so.

I know you said to pop the return line to the tractor to ensure that it's not leaking source. Purpose of this post is to ask you what are the weak spots in the valve assembly that tees where the lines enter the baler and split to go to the sides, leaking orings.......and if so, any external visual indication to give you a clue as to which one or which valve?

Thanks as usual,
Mark

It's difficult to answer your question. Any internal o-ring or either one of the pressure relief valves(key 1 &/or 14) could be at fault. Hyd tension pressure leak off could also be caused by leaking tractor control valve
