I missed this jewel at an auction because they had two rings going, but I was fortunate enough for my brother to see the guy that bought it the day after the sale loading up stuff and was able to get it purchased, of course I had to pay his price but it is mine now. Looking at it I can tell I?m going to need some parts and I hope someone out there can help me out. For starters I need the two big springs that go behind the handles and a top mounting for one side, then I need the coulters. What else is missing?

No,not "rare" at all. 'Tumble plows' were/are common in flood/furrow irrigated areas.IH;MM;Case made them. The IH (#39)Was by far the most common/popular of them(I have an IH). Followed by the MM. I have only seen one Case, however.JohnDeere did not make a 'tumble plow'. They made the model 202. It was a side by side type, similar to a 'grasshopper' plow. Used a transmission to raise and lower the plow bottoms.

Steve, Here is your IH No. 39 Tumble Bug Plow. At least my version. I am fortunate enough to have the #37, #38, and #39.
