I am looking at a Sitrex 2 GL-302 Tedder on an online auction. I was wondering if anyone could give me some feedback on Sitrex Tedders. I would like to know how well they perform and are parts readily available ? Thank You

Pretty much what Deere seller said. Yes parts are available. Sitrex makes many implements and they have been good to me. The key here is can you get it for a good price?

They are a light duty tedder that is very reasonable for smaller operators. You can buy them new for around $2K. I have a three point version just like the pull type your looking at. I love it. We do not have to ted the hay every time for beef cattle. Sometimes you get rain coming in sooner or hay that is wet. The little three point tedder works great for that.

IF your going to buy it thinking your going to run over hundreds of acres with a rough operator running it you will soon junk it.

They have there place for the smaller hay producer.

I had a customer with a Sirex tedder, he managed to trade it for a Pottinger, still in the Pottinger dealers yard as far as I know, will be 4 years ago now and it was priced to sell.

You can buy a China clone at Ranchrite. I have nothing to do with this company so I'm not plugging them. Just information.
