This plow came with a John Deere A that I just picked up. The PO told me it was a John Deere plow, but I found IH stamped in the beams. Can anyone tell me what model this is?

(quoted from post at 16:51:14 10/31/17) Those tires look really wide. Did someone put automobile wheels on it?

Yes, someone put some 16" truck split rims on it.

Got some blue paint on it, and a IH stamp in the cast iron, Must be a International, you can look up the P @ O history, Google it,Make a good yard ornament if you don't want to plow with it.

Dear cjet
From Wm. of near London Ontario Canada
Would you please do a service favour for me. ""You have an IHC Little Wonder two furrow pick up tractor plow. ""
I need some measurements OFF your plow. I had the Canadian version of that plow until some one decided it was their duty of steel it. FROM your plow I require measurements. The length of the rear land side; the length of the rod from the tongue to the frame; the measurements of the bracket on the frame and each part of it from bend to bend and any angles of this part as well.I have procured a replacement 2 furrow IHC Plow but need the above measurements to re set the plow from 3 wheel to two wheel pick up type tractor plow.
By The way I even have a plow manuel that for 20$ I could make a copy and send it to you If that would assist you in setting yours up to work.
Hope to hear from you soon. Wm.

The rear landslide is 21.5" long. I assume you mean the rod that I have the red arrow pointing to. That is 34.5" total length. I'm not clear on which bracket's you mean.

Dear Cjet;
You have pointed out the long rod That is a measurement I need"" ALOS"" if you note the lower end of it has a round rod hooked to a
plate. What is the size, diameter of that piece and a closer look at the attachment plate would be helpful, as well as the length of the top
piece of angle and its dimentions.
Thank you for all your assistance I can now start to "" assemble"" the missing pieces to completer this tow furrow I have // at least
compile them over the winter to fully work on this plow in the warmer weather.
Thank you again;

Dear Cjet;
No the clevis probably is not factory the rest certainly is My guess is that is may have been an I bolt on top. Thank you for the
measurements and pictures. I am going to speak to a retired IHC fellow who worked in the Hamilton Ontario Canada Plant on Saturday the
25 th. He has models and books galore and other information on many IHC pieces of equipment; SO I will also try to ascertain any other
information for you too; along with what I am needing so I will get back to you next week with any extra you may need. By the way here are
the colour schemes that I found on line for IHC plows Little Genius and other tractor plows including #8C and Wonder>>>>>>>>
Harvester Red for frats, levers and any other parts """"EXCEPT the following""" Havester Cream White Cream for wheels [ I take this to
mean rims] Havester Blue for backed of bottoms, axels springs & power-left mechanisms,Black for hitches & rolling coulters, Yoks &
scrapers
"""ALL DECALS""" are transfers ''''not''''' stencils for Hamilton Works Products made for Canadian Trade ''''trade name M<cCormick -
Deering and company name
Indian Rd instead of Harvester oxide red, black limited to chains, springs & a few other parts after 1927 Ochre colour re instituted and
harvester yellows continued
Hope this helps will write you next week if I find any other information
Wm. Happy Thank Giving to you

Dear Cjet
Thank you again for all your information. As to the cleric on the draw bar THAT certainly is not factory. Picture the following A FLAT HOSE SHOE SHAPE OR SQUARE U SHAPE ABOUT 3 TO 4 INCHES LONG SADDLED ON THE DRAW BAR WITH A BOLT HOLDING IT THERE; ON THE SIDE WHERE THE BAR MEETS THE PIECE A 5/8 BENT HORSE SHEW ROD TO ACCEPT THE HOOK ON THE BAR FROM THE FRAME. This was probably all forged or castbut could be made out of 4 welded pieces now using 5/8 or 3/4 stock 2 small for the sides 1 large for the top and a 5/8 or 3/4 bent rod fastened to the side with a hole drilled to suit the blot hole in the draw bar. One could get a little fancy and mimic casting ripples on the piece after manufacturing if so desired by appliing a thin coat of slow cure J/B weld and sand blasting sand as the material set up. Just remember to round all edges so no sharp edges on the out side. You may write me directly on e mail and I could sent a sketch of what I just described.
BY the way ""IF"" you are not in a hurry to refinish the plow LOOK UP re finishing using 1 to 10 parts molasses and water for peeping parts to remove ""rust"" prior to painting; IT takes time and a warm place or weather in my case [ living in Ontario Canada] and 3 weeks of soaking. I read about this process on the site refinishing back issue and talked to a gentleman who has used it with good results. THE ONLY caution he said was wash down well after soaking and apply paint immediately.
As I said earlier you may e mail me.
