All,
The idea of using wire nuts for trailer wiring works. I re-wired a trailer brake system years ago using leftover, but good extension cord and wire nuts.
Well, I hooked some of the wiring on something, pulling the trailer off road, and when I had to make repairs, the copper and connections were good. All except the parts I tore off.
I hope I am thanking the right guy on this forum.
