Krone KR Balers parts

I needed a replacement part for my KR250b baler and called my local krone dealer to find out that krone no longer supplies parts for the kr family of balers. I was given the number to Arts Way (712) 864-3131. I called andI chose the parts extension and ordered the part. Hopefully they do have it (said they did) and I will get it soon. I asked if they planned on discontinuing the parts the for the kr family of balers and was told that had no plans to discontinue.

Just wanted to share in the event others need parts for their kr baler.

Even though the local (65 miles) KRONE dealer has always provided parts for our 2 bales, it is always good to have a "backup".

I've used my local dealer also for parts in the past. Called today and they did not have it in stock so they called Krone to get it and was told they no longer supply the parts. It is a spur gear for the double string tie system you helped me with that I need. I took the string tie system off and apart now that I am finished baling for the year and it was full of debris that had put the gear in a bind and actually cracked it. i can probably use it in a pinch but wanted to get a new one. I lubed everything up and it works perfectly now. With it open I now see how it works which is pretty nifty by my standards.
