IH disk...what is it worth?

I am looking at a couple of disks...IH 350/370, good shape, 12' width. Both disks would be a private sale. What would a fair price be? I am located in southeast Minnesota. How much
difference in price would an 8' or 10' disk of the same vintage be? Thank you in advance for your guidance.

Two years ago I bought an IH 14 ft. 370 disk from a dealer for $900. Price really depends a lot on the condition of disk. Al

I forget, is that a typical smaller bladed finishing disk, or a real brute of a heavy duty tillage disk? Can't remember my ihc model numbers....

I think $500 is a good starting point for a nice finishing disk, a disk with worn blades is worth so much a lb scrap iron, and in a more suburban 10 acre farmstead area could be worth $1500.

I'm in southern mn too. Don't see so many that small any more so,if you want one, hard to,pass up.... lot got scrapped the last time iron prices went up.

I bought a no. 47, 14 foot, years ago, the only thing i know is don't put jobber disk's on it, there not worth taking home, I know IHC earth blades cost more, but there certainly worth it! I first put on a set of Amundsons, and disked the headland of a 80 acres cornfield to smooth it down, and they were already dull and shot basically, i put on IHC, the next year and there still there.
