How do you grease the the wheels on a jon deere model b drill it was probably made in the 60's. Thanks Amo

The "B" drills were made from about '46 to about '61.

IIRC, there's a zerk inboard of the hubs, in the sprocket area, that probably lubes the inner bearing some, in addition to flushing out dirt between the spindle and hub/sprocket.

To fully grease the outer bearing, the hub and sprocket would have to come off, and be cleaned and re-packed, much like the front hubs on an older RWD car.

I thought grease fitting(key 31) was more for lubricating axle & drive sprocket than lubricating inside brg. I thought one needed to remove hub to repack both inside & outside brg's

I have a zerk on the item 35 for the wheel bearings on mine, forget the model, as I recall. Plenty of zerks to grease for sure. Mine has the
galvanized hopper single duty hopper and dual discs.
