Does anyone know what the model numbers are for the early mowers? Sorry don't have picture. It is a pull type the old Bush Hog orange, PTO shaft goes back to the gear box to for the main cutter, shaft extends back to transfer gear box. Then shafts go over to the gear boxes on the wings

Any of them up to a 3715 could be configured like that. About 40 years worth of cutters. Get the 5 or 6 digit part numbers off the gearboxes and go from there.

I can't picture that. Sounds like it has four gearboxes? My newer one has four, but PTO goes to a main splitter gear box, which then feeds all three rotors separately. Do you have a dealer who could help you sort it out?

Thanks, I'll look for the numbers on the gear box, I looked for the ID plate but could not find it. Yes it does have four gear boxes

Most Bush Hog bat wings have 4 boxes. Yours Having the three joint PTO and not a CV driveline is either quite old or was ordered with a not very common driveline package.
