Im needing information on horse machinery salvage yards. Specifically Im looking for a part for my 1924 IHC grain drill. It mounts onto the metal part that mounts onto the box. the part mounts onto the front end of the metal part and regulates the amount of seed flow coming down the flutes. it is around 6in long. The top part has holes in it and a strip of tin fastened only at the middle of the part, with a metal stud at the free end of the metal strip. It is hinged in the middle by a pin which allows it to move. The bottom part is around 1in wide and around 3in or so long. This part of the whole part has a curve which allows it to fit around and onto the basic metal part that attaches to the box.

Dad accumulated a lot of horse machinery at his salvage yard before he passed. We are now trying to clean up. I don't know that we have a piece that is being asked for, but there is plows, cultivators, rakes, rotary hoes, mowers, etc. It is all for sale. Please call if you are interested. -- Joe 605-460-3017
