Anybody know how to replace the wood board underneath the conveyor on an old PAPEC Chopper? It seems you have to remove the conveyor but looks a little confusing. Tried to upload a photo, but unable.

Thanks,
Robert

Also, I am seeing grease in these cups that are for lubricating axles and such. Did somebody screw this up in the past? Aren't these drip oil cups suppose to be filled with oil, not grease?

I am not sure what you have there, but the grease cups that I have used, you fill em up with grease, twist them on a turn, then every so many hours you twist another turn to push some more grease in. If you filled with oil I think that it would just all run in, in a few hours.

showcrop is correct on use. Instead of taking off the cup and filling it every time need grease just screw it a pit tighter. Works like when you tighten it a round like putting a single squirt from your pump gun in.

I had an ag instructor in the 80's that didn't have a clue what they were. He got awfully suspicious when I refilled them on the shop grinder. The idiots name is Dennis Parsley.

Drip oil cups usually have a glass container with a small lever on the lid, which you raise to open the valve to let the oil out, while the machine is operating...then you close it. What you"re seeing are grease cups, which like the others mentioned, get filled with grease and then occasionally you give them a turn or two to push the grease into the bearing.
