van brunt left and right mechanical lift question

Bought a Van Brunt drill at auction. Cannot tow it home until I get the Right side lifted into transport position. I notice the reason for it being down is a broken flat chain from the press wheels attached to the mechanical lift. I am thinking I can remove the flat chain from the good side(side already up) and install it on the broken side. Seems like a plan? Else is there another way to rock a mechanical lift forward on those drills to raise that gang?

You can put an adjustable wrench such as a Cresent brand and with the aid of a cheater pipe rotate square pressure until mechanical lift locks into raised position. Depending on model you can remove 3 bolts(key 36) on inside of wheel hub disconnecting drive chains for highway transport. Before removing bolts one needs to mark sprocket & hub because all bolts will only fit one way
