john deere hay rake 850

Looking at buying a john deere hay rake model 850 I think. It has a broken hub wher the 4 bars hook onto. Part is no longer available from john deere. Is anyone parting one out or know of a salvage yard that might have one? The casting number on it is G585E. Any help would be great. Thank you

I have seen rakes with a spoke welded, sounds like that one is more serious hub being broken. Also, be sure it has a good shift collar (it is the clutch affair that engages to drive the basket) as they do wear out and they cost over $300 new at deere. Probably the only way to check it is to pull the rake with the basket engaged and see if it turns like it should. Ours got worn and would disengage while raking and would have to stop momentarily, then go again and it would work again for awhile. Got so bad it would sometimes only go for 40-50 feet before disengaging.
