older styled dirt scoop

anyone have an idea how this dirt scoop works...does it only mount with scoop mouth toward the front of tractor. Im familiar with the newer style like king kutter but this one befudles me a little how it looks hitched up and operation. Could not find one on you tube to give me a reference as to whether it can point the scoop towards the rear or what not.

Blackhawk and later Ferguson and only will work going forward. Looks just a bit different than mine.

It is supposed to mount facing forward. The way it is currently setting, it appears that it is in full dump mode. The steel to the far right has a small clip that the side bars rests in while digging. The bar that is over the scoop
has the two lower pins for the three point. The lower arms go under this bar. If you close it up (Pull all the steel up over the scoop to the left) the attachment to the tractor should become more clear. My dad has a scoop
exactly like that for his 8N. The dump handle look like it may have been re-welded on in the incorrect location.

I think it is a Dearborn, made for ford,

looks like this standing in the upright position,
they work good and will dig, but only digs in the forward direction,

I later bought a newer generation 706 ford digger, they are very good diggers, was blue color when I got it,
hooks up both forward and reverse.
much more user friendly, if you do not have a front end loader.
