I am looking for a 3 bottom plow 3 pt mounted plow. I have heard of a model F115 and an F125 for sale and I have looked at an F130 that is for sale. The F130 looks good but the hitch has been welded on. Can some one please explain the difference between the models.

The F115 has shear bolts rather than trips. The F130 had a heavier trip standard and thicker side plates. The f125 was the most popular and is the same as the f145 semi mount plows. Tom

Thanks - that helps a lot! Does the 130 work any better than the 125 or is it simply more robust? Not sure if trip vs shear bolt will make much of a difference in South Central KS - no rocks, but we do have fairly heavy silty clay loam. Will be generally plowing wheat, corn and bean stubble.
