I'm trying to help a neighbor. Is there a way to tighten reel drive chain(key 2) other than utilizing an offset chain link to remove a link? Thanks,Jim

From the backside of the machine, up under the tin. There is
a 5/16 bolt. Loosen the bolt and you should be able to "cam"
the sprocket to tighten the chain. I hope this is clear
enough to get through what I'm trying to say. Good luck.

Thanks for reply. Since I'm unfamiliar with this machine I need to look at it more closely.

I've had previou experience adjusting similar chain on a JD 1219 Mo-Co so I was guessing NH Haybine had something similar.
