HICO PTO Locking Pin

I've got an older Howse 500 mower that lost the PTO locking pin to hold it on the tractor PTO shaft. The yoke is stamped "HICO"...can anyone point me in the right direction as to finding a replacement locking pin?

It's not the typical locking pin that has a snap ring on the back side holding it in the yoke. Blind hole but without the customary staking around the opening to hold in the pin. Kind of at a loss for a replacement, probably looking at putting a new yoke on it to get it mowing again. Thanks for the help.

The yoke and your PTO shaft should have a hole in them. Get a 1/4 inch locking hairpin pin and line them up.

that is all it has or came with years ago, the coupler goes onto the tractor pto shaft and a 1/4 or 5/16 bolt holds it on with a couple of locking nuts.

it works fine, have never had it come off and I have sheered the auger sheer bolt a few times over the years.

all this universal joint bolt does is hold it in place on the pto shaft.
