Model 70 Thrower Cylinder

While we're talking balers - I have a model 70 thrower on my 316 , and it swivels great to the left (far enough that you can throw the bales so they don't come anywhere near the wagon) but not so much to the right, which is the direction you really need it to. If it throws a bale in a turn, the bale either misses the wagon, or smashes into the side.
I'm thinking it might have the wrong hydraulic cylinder on it. Does anyone know what length of throw cylinder is supposed to be on it?
Thanks
Pete

Not sure on length but i will give advice on your thrower. There is a latch that allows it to be locked in the strait back position. Remove it. With time the roll pins can wear and let it come apart this will let it latch and then when the cylinder is used you will damage the bale case. I have seen several that were damaged and local NH dealer would remove them when balers were in for service. It is something that does not happen often but if it does it could ruin your baler. Tom

Thanks guys - I'll measure the throw on the cylinder that's on it, and remove the latches. I've never thought about it, but I haven't used the latches in the seven years I've had it, so I guess I won't be needing them
