Unusual sickle bar

This is listed on the local Craigslist. Not mine . Looks like a homemade setup to me. Anyone ever seen such a thing?

That is kinda funny.

So, is it like a stationary baler where you bring the hay to the baler - with no wheels, do you have to bring the grass to the bar?!?

I think it's a hoof trimmer. Just put the bar across the alley where the cows come into the barn...

A gentleman that went by the name of Wardner made something like that a few years ago. Unfortunately he passed away and his pictures are gone from the archive. Photobucket strikes again.
 
Looks to me like it is made to slip over the forks on a skid steer or the like and could be used for clipping up high. Top of hedge?
 
Especially right here in Meigs County, Ohio. That's where Meigs County Green was developed & from what I hear we're getting a medical grow plant here ran by a very good friend of the county commissioners. hum, I wonder if the employees will have to pass a drug test LOL.
