The original subject was "Re: AC 80T Sickle Mower".

I just bought an AC 80T Trail type mower - I purchased it from the son of a farmer who recently passed away. Apparently he had taken it apart to work on the knife but never finished and now they cant find some of the parts - it is missing a few parts that connect the knife to the pivot bar that is driven by the gear box.

I have posted a picture of "burkie's" mower with some comments to try and show what parts are missing.

The knife is not connected to anything and has a serrated section in the drive end with a hole in the center.

The pivot bar that is driven by the gear box is there with bearings or bushings on both ends but the center hole is empty - the center hole has a recess around the inside diameter for grease and a clamp bolt that looks like it would tighten to clamp whatever bearing or bushing goes in the hole.

I am thinking that the missing parts probably include a bearing or bushing in the center of the bar, possibly a serrated washer under that bar that matches the serrations on the knife and a bolt assembly to hold it all together.

Appreciate if anyone can help me identify what parts are missing and if possible provide some pictures of the actual parts and/or part numbers.

If anyone knows where I can get replacement parts new or used that would be great as well

thanks
