Massey Ferguson 82 plow

I am searching for a 3 furrow plow. They are kind of rare in my area. I stumbled upon that ad. http://www.agricorquebec.com/listing/charrue-massey-3-versoirs/

What intrigue me is the modification to the reset mechanism. I know the originals are spring but this one is hydraulic. Should i stay away from such modifications?

It looks like a model 345, not an 82. If the accumulator,cylinders and hoses are ok, it should work good

Thanks i guess i didn't look long enough to find the proper plow model.

My question may sound weird but is their any pros and cons about hydraulic reset versus spring ones?

The tractor i would use it with would be a MF 390, 4wd

If your fields have a lot of stones, the hydraulic resets will let you plow non stop and get the job done
faster. If your ground is very hard, auto resets may trip more often without hitting obstructions. Spring
trips (in good condition) stay put in the ground good
