Any suggestions for replacing conditioner rollers in a vicon. I have found parts but very expensive. Wondered if anyone knows of cheaper parts.

I had one of those and like it but at the start-up of a new season one of the disc bearings was out so I went out and got a replacement. I think that your best bet is to look for a parts machine.

There's a guy in Michigan here someplace that advertises one on Mid Michigan Craigslist every now and then. I just checked and the ad is gone again. He has one with no cutterbar but says the rolls are good. It always catches my eye because I had a 321 and the rolls went bad in that one. I got rid of it.
Maybe if you run an ad of your own, looking for him and that machine, you might get a response.

There's a place in Minnesota that makes new ones, but when I contacted them, they said I'd have to bring my old ones so they could reverse engineer them and that it would cost in the neighborhood of $9000. That's why I got rid of mine.

Hello. I took the conditioner rollers out & run it without them. It works very well & is a lot quieter . I really like the hitch on these mowers. The only thing is without the rollers, it lays down a wide swath so if
we are making round bale haylage the we have to rake it .

That's the trouble I had. I took the rolls out too. It laid it wider than my rake would handle in one swath. Just didn't work out for me.

guess I am back looking for a discbine. Thanks for the replies, they were kind of what I expected, but I thought maybe there was a chance. If anyone is looking for one without rollers I know where there is one with a rebuilt cutter bar!

I tried to sell mine here in Michigan without the rolls and couldn't get any takers at all. I advertised it on Bowling Green Ky Craigslist and sold it in no time. A guy sent his neighbor all the way up here to get it.
