Economical Source for Grimm Tedder Belts

So.... I have a Grimm S8 0001; which is a single swath tedder (two spindles). It's a belt drive. My belt broke at the end of last season; and I dreaded paying around 250 bucks for a new one.

*nepotism alert, I found this source through my niece*

My brother suggested that I call his daughter (my niece) at Midway Industrial in Utica, NY. My wife and I measured the belt and estimated these specs:.... 199" long, 7/8" thick, hexagonal (also known as C-section double angled)

Guess what? Midway had a supplier. The part number is:
A-CC195

My niece gets a family discount; so, without giving away Midway's profit margin, I can tell you that I was able to have the belt drop shipped to my farm for way, way less than 100 bucks, plus nominal shipping. Even with shipping, it was way, way less than 100 bucks.

I can't imagine that Midway's price, even without the family discount, would be anywhere near the 250 bucks that the belt would cost from Leader Evaporator (which bought out Grimm and supplies parts).

The number for Midway Industrial is 315-797-6660.

Good luck, and I hope that someone finds this useful.
