Ferguson Sherman plow ?

Found a 2 bottom plow for sale that I'm thinking about getting. Seller says the tag says Ferguson Sherman No.33354 type 14A. Since we'll be using it does anyone know if parts are available for it still?

I think it just says Ferguson 14A,Sherman was a different company to my knowledge, they made step-up -down trans adapters.Plow shares and parts are available in case you should wear it out in your lifetime.

I think Sherman is the company that made the implements for Ferguson. Before they just put the Ferguson name on. I would guess that plow dates to 39 or 40.

Ferguson 14" plow, 14A was built between '39/'43. The tag would read FERGUSON/SHERMAN Dearborn Mi.

So I bought it. The tag does say Ferguson Sherman on the back of the frame. It also has Ford cast into the side. Didn't really think much of that since Ferguson and Ford worked together for awhile from my understanding. Then I noticed after I got it home the back of the moulboards say Oliver. All I care about it is that I can make it work but thinking it's might be pieced together from different plows.

Mine has Ford cast in as well but is a 12" plow. That the moldboards say Oliver means that somebody changed to Oliver bottoms to get the throwaway share instead of the blacksmith sharpen type. Probably was done back in the 50's when it was getting hard to find somebody that could sharpen those shares. And I think the Dearborn econmey plow used Oliver bottoms from new so it would be logical to use Oliver bottoms as the frame would have been drilled the same for both types of share bottoms.
