buster bar vs. coil tine

I have an IH 4500 Vibrashank with a 3-bar coil tine harrow. Generally happy with it, except I wish it had tandems and was a little wider (bigger tractor now than when I bought it). There's a bigger field cultivator not too far away for a reasonable price, but no harrow. Found a Midwest Buster Bar at on online auction that should work, but I have no experience with them. How well do the smooth the ridges a field cultivator leaves? Would I be happy with it after running the coil tine?

The Buster Bar is intended for disc chisels, chisel plows, and offset plowing discs. Made to cut down the heavy ridges of a primary tillage tool. Coil tine harrow is suited for final seedbed prep behind a field cultivator or disc harrow.

That's what I was kind of thinking, but the limited information I've found says they mount on chisel plows, tandem disks, and field cultivators... which is why I'm asking here.

I had one on an IH 720 moldboard plow. In corn or bean ground it provided a good seedbed in a single pass. But the diagonal mounting on a plow effectively narrowed the bar spacing as compared to how it would work mounted perpendicular to the line of travel.

We put a buster bar on a 45 vibra shank after an accident between harrows and a tree. You will not be satisfied if you compare the job they do to a 3 bar harrow.
