NH Super 66

I am wondering how sharp the stationary knife and the knife on the plunger should be? Also can I sharpen it with a grinder or sharpening file?

I need to figure out how big the gap is between the two... If it's bigger than it should I'll be back asking how to adjust that. I am a few weeks away from 1st cutting and need to make some final adjustments to have her ready.

Sharp for the plunger knife and a solid, square edge on the stationary side. Follow the factory angle on the plunger knife. I'd advise using a 4" grinder. Same for the other one. Both can be removed for sharpening. The gap should be 1/8" or less if your baler is close enough as far as tolerances go.
