John Deere 246 planter

OK; I'm going off memory about the 246. This is my little JD two roe planter that was my grand fathers. I'm wondering what is the fix for the drop tubes that go under the fertilized bin to the shoe below. The originals were made out of a metal springie thing. Mine are all rusted out. Are new ones out there? Has some one came up with a plastic one? I made it through this year but by next I'll need two of them.

radiator tubes or go to the motorcycle shop, they might have some tall dirt bike used front tire tubes laying in the scrap bend, cut out a section,

inside would be smooth and is for a smaller dia tire, might be just the ticket for cheap.

I just used hose clamps to mount them and they stayed on, but I also used a piece of wire tie up to the frame just in case they came loose, did not want to lose them.
