Ford 515 sickle mower

Does anyone have pictures of how the mower is hooked. Friend with lots of experience with 501 says he can't figure it out

Well if my scanner still worked I could scan any page out of the owners manual I have for the 515 Ford sickle bar mower. I guess I could maybe take a picture of any page you want and send it that way if that would help.

I have some old photos that may not help but here they are. The 515 has some unique connections that are hard to figure out. The lower right link needs to have a bracket that you connect the spring breakaway to, it has to be adjusted length correctly. The top of the round main frame has a small chain with a spring at end that you connect to the hole in the draw bar. I think you can still get an operators manual online, I suggest you get one. I have my 515 now available for parts, the main bearing/wobble is trashed but the bar, guards, sections decent. I prefer the MF Dynabalance mowers now, easier hook ups and smoother running. 515 is good but not easy to hook up for beginners for sure. Good luck.
