800 cyclo air row marker help

I need some help. My brother and I have an 800 cyclo air planter that we bought but we didn't get the box for controlling the row markers. We can't get the markers to lower at all. We've tried jumping wires and putting in switches. It just doesn't make sense. The planter is a 4 row. The best I can tell it has electric controlled automatic switching for the hydraulic row markers.

Can anyone provide me with a wiring diagram of the row marker control system?

Do any of you have a control box not in use you'd want to sell? How about a true service manual?

Thanks

Where are you located, I have a six row that I use but I don't use the marker arms, you can have the switch box! I am in SW WI by Prairie du Chien.

I'm in Scottsville Ky. It's a small town near Bowling Green Ky. Just 60 miles north of Nashville. I really appreciate that. Do you think shipping is an option?

Also controls the depth of the planter. Without the box working they sometimes lower too far and can break the seed delivery hoses. The op manual tells you how far above ground the main bar should be for proper operation. I put a piece of chain on the end of the bar to know at a glance if it is the right height. Can also put stop blocks on the cylinders to keep it from going to deep.

Ya shipping is not a problem, I can run it down to the post office tomorrow and ship it out, you can call me and leave me your address. I will try to have my phone on me, I usually leave it in the milk house. My number is 608 412 356zero.

Your tractor remote should be in 'float' mode when you lower the planter. Energize a solenoid and hold a screw driver to it and it should be magnetized; valve should open and let the marker down.

johnemcn,

I'm on board with your suggestion to energize the solenoid to work the valve. Actually I ran a 12 volt hot and ground back to the solenoid and tried to energize it but I had no luck. That's when I decided to post on here and see if I could track down a wiring diagram. Is it possible the solenoid has 2 hot wires running to it? This would mean it grounds through the block its threaded into?

I could be totally confused here. What do y'all think?
