Help! Henry BA-8 loader

I have no manual and no idea how to service it. This is my first tractor and backhoe so I have no previous experience with anything like it to go on. Now I'm a professional engine machinist of over 20 years and have made some nice power improvements to the engine and have it running quite nicely. Having my own machine shop allows me to indulge in otherwise expensive modifications. What I need is assistance in locating manuals and possibly some advice on service I should do before operating it as it has sat for a year and all the hyd oil leaked out of a split hose I've just replaced. Oil? Type and weight? Priming the system? Hidden or not obvious lubrication points? Ect... Any help is greatly appreciated.

Just curious. My mother's maiden name was Pyle. She said that her Dad vaguely talked about relatives back in Ohio, but no one ever came to visit them from Ohio so she never knew who we were connected to. She was one of 12 children born in a sod homesteader's house in ND.

My grandfather was Jack Pyle. He moved to Washington State from somewhere back east with his father Charlie Pyle. I'll have to ask my dad where from. I moved to Iowa from Washington State with my family about a year ago. I know very little about my family history unfortunately. Other than they were farmers that struck out west sometime around the great depression.

I don't know if this will be of any help to you, but Henry was acquired by Allis Chalmers in about 1968 -69 and merged into AC's line of Industrial Equipment. I suspect Henry wasn't very good about publishing manuals. You might check with AGCO about AC Industrial loaders and backhoe manuals. If AC had early manuals, they would probably cover the Henry models because I doubt that AC made many changes to the products that Henry produced originally.
