Didn't think I would find a dealer open today that would have the 12 seed baffles I need but low and behold found some at dealer 60 miles away. I dashed right over there and picked them up. Wife helped me put them on and fill the planter with seed and I was planting by 4:30 this afternoon. I have sprockets on to plant 29,800 pop. and monitor says I am getting 29,880. I am extremely pleased with that accuracy. I would have a hard time beating that if I was planting it by hand with a hoe and rake. I did a lot of scratching and found a single seed every 7" just like book says. In spite of my late start today I still got 33 acres planted. Will start at day break tomorrow, Try and make up for lost time today. Coffee pot is set to start at 6:00 a.m. When I'm busy in the field all I have for breakfast is banana and cup of coffee. Seems to loose me enough weight through summer so I don't explode when I put on my winter weight. Well enough about me))))) everybody else getting anything done?

I will tell you the monitors on those kenzies are real accurate. Not sure how they can read 16 rows on just 3 wires? It is way too wet to plant around here. I have got a good start on my corn but not sure if some will even come up. I was 35 this morning!

I'm glad that you found the parts to get the planter operational. When the ground is fit to work, that equipment needs to roll!

Here you would need pontoons on that planter. And I had 29 degrees this morning. A lot of corn already planted will end up being replanted. What is up and not under water is yellow. Ohio
