Bush Hog shaft nut

got a Bush Hog brush cutter with a 5 foot deck and am trying to pull the blades for repair. It's an old timer. I found a tag on the gear box face with a # 12509 stamped on it.
Is the 2" nut left or right hand threaded? Can't budge it either way. Any help is appreciated!

All the ones I have worked on the threads are the common righty tighty and lefty lousy. But i have also found most times it takes a 20 foot cheater to brake them free if you ever get them free. Heat ATF and more heat may work if you uget lucky

Old has it covered but I will add if you do get nut off driving the bolt out can be even harder.I put 6 new blades on mine last fall and ended up buying all new hardware .

105's and 305's could have left hand threads. I have both nuts in stock and meant to measure the flats on both this afternoon but simply forgot.
The LH and RH nuts are different sizes. Maybe tomorrow. The respective downshafts and nuts are fully interchangeable within the gearboxes,
so it's nearly impossible to tell which you have without sizing the nut.

I have found that a combination of heat, penetrating oil, a 4 foot cheater then hit the end of the 4 foot cheater with a piece of 2 inch pipe about 3 feet long works..
