Finally bought some new 4 bolt implement rims.

$50 each. Seem pretty nice. 15" rim with 4.5" width.

If I needed some, I would do the same and just buy new. There are NO salvage yards around here anymore, and a guy could drive 100 miles to attend an auction, spend all day, only to be outbid and come home empty handed.

I wasn't having luck in parts yards, probably for the same reason that I am sending two old ones to the scrap pile (they're rusted out). If I was any good at welding I could maybe fix 'em myself, but... For the price, I can't complain. However, if I ever stumbled across two more in good shape, I'd snap 'em up quick.

(quoted from post at 19:27:28 04/28/17) where did you find them? need 2 myself

Agri Supply online. I think the rims are made by SMA? They seem pretty heavy.

(quoted from post at 23:39:15 04/28/17) Are they the right color? Or do you have to paint them?

If they were for my AC 160 rotary mower, they'd be perfect as is (maybe I'd paint them white). But they're going on a John Deere disc, so thinking about painting them yellow just for fun.

We had probably 3 or 4 loose 4 bolt rims on our auction last November, and another 1 or 2 with tires on them. Probably only brought a few bucks for all of them.

That blows my mind -- especially for what 15" tires cost!

We had 2 spare 10.00-15 implement tires compete on rims in the loose tire pile, don't think they brought $50/each.

If they're just car/truck tires mounted on the rims, they go cheap. Some of those extra rims we had I got it off the scrap yard when I bring a load in. I simply the those in the truck after unloading so I just got paid a little less for what I brought in.
