Picked up this 102 IH corn planter out of a barn last week. It has parts from the farmall tractor conversion and the row check also has the the fertilizer hopper but of course that are rotten. Has some rust but over all not in too bad of shape. I think I can get it to plant. I already have the 106 IH planter. After fixing that one up we planted 11 acres with it. After the first row almost killed the friend in the seat. We were using an 8n to pull it and the under exhaust was blowing right in his face. We stuck a bent pipe on the exhaust pipe and continued to plant with out a problem.

I have one with a 3pt and made fertilizer units from 2 old fiberglass seed bins off a newer IH planter. I did use it last year a little. I like it alot but as of right now I plant 4 rows of sweet corn at a time and will already have my 4 row oliver hooked up so I just use it.

I made the fertilizer hoppers on my other planter using 5gal bucket. Ain't pleasing to the eye but gets the job done. I do side dress with my cub.
