I recently purchased a old burch 6' disk. i can not find any info for getting replacement parts. Not sure of the year model, the tag on the 3 point hitch has a s/n 32771. It also says Burch True Blue. The disk gains do not fasten solid o the frame, they have a round hook on the frame that hooks into the outer bearing housing (looked to have babbit bushings instead of bearings) on the inner up top there is a 1"x1/2" flat bar that slides into a slot. There is 3/4" round rods with hooks that fasten the front gains to the rear. Does anyone have an idea of the year or where to get replacement parts(bushings)?

I have an old blue Burch disc (made by Burch in Evansville,Indiana). Mine has a crank on the back, that screws into an adjusting block to move the gangs. Mine does not fit your description. I have no idea where to buy parts. I have heard that Burch is out of business.

I think Burch is out for 40+ years. Mine was a 6 on a side wheel disk with white iron bearings and you had to pump in a tube of grease every 2 hours to keep it from squaling. Never saw a mounted one. Think at one time Ford sold them and possibly when Ford went blue took over Burch but that is just a guess. When Ford went blue they realy pushed the Blue color.

Mine is a 3 point. Works OK. Pour it full of grease. Probably does only 2 or 3 acres a year. Bought it cheap at an auction, and have no plans to spend any money on it. Well worth what I paid for it...not much.
