Having some difficulty getting enough clearance between the tail wheel tire and its casting on a 3 bottom Oliver 4340 trailer plow. I plowed about 7 acres the other night with the plow and my JD 60 and it did a good job but when I finished I discovered the tail wheel tire was flat. The current tire is a 7.00 X 16 which I think is probably thicker than what would have been on the plow from the factory. The plow also trailed well in the field but wobbled excessively in 5th gear on the road. What adjustments/repairs might I make to obtain more clearance between the tire and the casting? Could I simply flip the dish on the tail wheel? Thanks for the help.
Sincerely,
Pete Markel
