I recently bought a JD 1219 moco at an auction on the cheap. It seems to be a pretty nice machine overall, good sickle section and great rolls. However, two of the tine bars (AE42667 and AE42668) are broken at the cam bearing end and are thus missing the bearing. I looked around for used replacements but have found nothing nearby. So I figure I will take on of the good ones over to a welder and have him fabricate two replacements. I noticed the tooth bolt pattern is different on some of the tine bars (for example, the first bolt is about 6.5" from the bearing on one and 4.5" away on another). Is there any particular reason this is the case and will I run into any problem getting new tine bars fabricated?
