planting cucumber seed with JD vacuum meter

Have a JD vacuum planter and would like to plant several acres to cucumber. Can it be done? What seed plate would I use, what vacuum level and any other modifications to the unit. Thanks for your help.

I had a buddy that glued every few holes shut to plant pumpkins so maybe you could modify that way. Last year there was several hundred acres of pickles planted around here so maybe I can ask around.
