Can anyone please let me know what this is
and how it's used I got at an auction
thinking it was a box blade and now I can't
figure it out

Huh. Be interesting what that little tag in the picture says, manufaturer at least?

Doesn't look quite 'normal' to me but a cover crop roller, you go over standing small grain crop and roll it down, crush every stem to kill it, and
plant into this directly with corn/soybeans?

Would be ever increasingly popular these days as both organic and cover crop use is becoming more popular.
