Bought a new baler Saturday.Never baled with an inline baler. Was looking at the conventional side pulls also 'cause that's what I've always used. After doing some research I thought I would give this hesston inline a try...heard nothing but good things about them.Still have my Deere 337 as a backup tho, LOL.

Let us know how it compares to the side pull. I've always wondered if it's hard on the neck when you look to see how the bales are turning out.

Paul, have had one for 3 years now. You will love it. Once you get use to it you will wonder how you got by with your JD for so long. Happy baling. PS, still have my 338 JD for backup. Just in case.

If it is anything like my MF 224 compared to the JD 336 that I had before it you will love it.

David, have a mirror in the cab so don't need to look back. Three years with an average of 25,000 bales a year and broke 1 [one] bale. Ran over it. Oops. Easy to pull and easier to pull. Use less hp to run.

Verry popular inline baler here in the UK. Just a pity it has to have a Massey Ferguson sticker on it and thats what the owners tell me when yhey want any back up service from AGCO MJ

Neighbor has one that is two years old and you can hear the plunger knock from a mile away the dealer can't find the problem .bales keep coming out of it so he keeps running it . I like hesston it's just to bad that agco is trying give Massey ferguson a big name buy using hesstons good reputation to promote that tractor line

I'll be that the mechanic is lazy and that it is the adjustable rail needs to be edged in on the plunger head a little.
