Trying to identify Du-Al loader

Mikes560

New User
Hi everyone. Last fall I bought a Farmall 560. It used to be my uncle's. At least one of the cylinders needs new seals. If it had a model number on it anywhere, either I haven't found it or (more likely) it got painted over when my uncle painted it a few years back.

I have found the serial number. Is there a cross reference chart out there anywhere? The serial number is D74-1186.

A also have another Du-Al that was left behind by the previous owners of our farmstead. It's SN is D661120.

Thanks for the help.

Finally figured out how to add a pic! ;-)

I would take leaking cyl to A hydraulic repair shop. the cyl is not real simple to repair correctly yes it is 300 or 325

Thanks for the help. I probably will take it to a hydraulic repair shop. I'm not real keen on trying it myself.

What is the difference between a 300 and 325? Do you know where to get user manuals?

looks a lot like the one I bought and just put on my SMTA. I sent an email to Woods and got an operators manual for it. Mine is a 325 as I finally located enough numbers to tell. Operator manual I have is for 320 and 325 I don't really know the difference. I have the manual saved I think so if you want a copy send me your email address. Messick's has loader cylinder breakdown for it and I assume parts also. Where did you find the serial number? I haven't found one on mine but don't really know where to look.

I finally figured out to go to Woods site and email them. We'll see what they send.

If I can figure out how to email you I will do that fright after I post this. Thanks.

As far as where the SN is; on both the loaders I have here, it is an approx. 2" x 3" plate welded on the main front cross member:

(quoted from post at 12:04:43 03/05/17) your loader is prettier than mine. I can't believe how high that thing lifts, I may have to get aircraft warning lights on mine.

Yeah, my uncle repainted the tractor and loader a few years ago. He did a petty good job.

You know, I haven't lifted this thing all the way to the top yet. That will give me an excuse to go out there and play round with it a little. Beautiful day in ND today. Sunny, no wind, and 40 degrees and rising!

Email sent! Thanks!
