I had for about 10 yrs until I traded for a mower/conditioner. Was a great mower, almost no problems with it.

Vermeer TM800 are good cutters. I like the separate modules of the cutterbar. The grease in each module is a PITA to check/change.

I would love to have it! Have been running a NI5408 and I understand about the PIA to check/change oil. Do you think the shaft driven mowers are harder to pull? I have a Vicon CM2400 torn down that was given to me and think I can rebuild it for around $800/parts. Vermeer probably 5K but I think would be a good investment. Have been cutting Tift-85 with problems drying down. Would love to have conditioner but out of range.
