Bale accumulators

Anyone with experience using a Parrish Bale accumulator or similar model that drags bales on ground? Thanks.

I have an OLD Farmhand drag accumulator. Works great when you are kicking out bales that almost touch, but if you have to drag them very far, you will roughen the bale up some. I have had 20 bales in mine, but its best if you stay around 10 or so. Rough ground will trip it open.
I sent it out to my Father-in-law, and he didn't like it, but he bales light windrows, and had to pull the bales a long ways. I don't think I have any pictures of it, but did see a video of a homemade one on You Tube. Was searching for bale baskets and it came up as a homemade bale basket.

ran accumulator rigs for several years but would never care for drag on ground unit. they will work but ground better me smooth and hay heavy. i used hoelscher accumulators, kuhn accumulators and bale basket wagons in my baling days.

Old Farmhand hydraulic one here. Drags don't work on hilly ground. Farmhand put up 17000 bales last year. 8 bale cubes and 2 tractors with grabbers and 40 foot cotton wagons.
This is my son's operation.

The drag accumulators are a cheap one and if you have thin hay your dragging the bale a long ways on the ground. So you rough up the next cutting of hay and make the bale look ragged.
