My neighbors disc, and it just folds and hits the inner disc's when pulling it. Can anyone help ID what model it is, and how it operates. It was painted blue originally.

Inner disks are designed to hit the reason those cast pieces on the inner end of the axle are called bumpers. And I do like a flexible disk a lot better than a rigid. Under a lot of conditions a flexable will no a better job than a rigid disk especially as a last time over finishing disk. They are not as agresive as a ridjid for primary tillage.
