I'm still in the market for a set of gathering wheel assemblies for my Case IH 8430 baler. Just thought I'd throw it out there & see if anyone has or knows of any around for sale. Email's open Thanks guys, Keith

(quoted from post at 10:26:54 02/08/17) I need a set of just the rubber parts for my 530 Hesston. Interested to hear what you find.

For just the wheels or just the rubber, try excelbelting dot com. I have bought both from them. If you buy just the rubber, you will need to cut down the old wheels and drill them to fit the new bolt pattern. We cut them with Oxy/acetylene torch with circle cutter attachment. My advice is to buy the whole wheel, they even come with bearing races installed. We have also cut the sidewall out of a bias ply tire(no steel belts) in a 'sawtooth' pattern and bolted to the old wheel with 1/4" bolts and flat washers. Was not too hard and gathers the hay as good as the OEM wheels. The hard part is finding a decent bias ply tire, it needs to be 14 inch.

Yeah I've got a Heston 540, should be exactly the same as your Case IH 8430 and I've been looking for a set for a year now. The kit from the dealer is pretty pricey. I got lucky and got a set of bale ramps last year from a guy on hear on the cheap. Tickled me to death...
